Fat Freezing
Fat Freezing, also know as '3D Lipo' 'CoolSculpt' or Cryolipolysis, is a very effective fat reduction treatment. It is particularly good for stubborn stomach areas, back fat and the chin. Large cups are placed on the area and suction is used to draw the fat in to the cup. You may feel a slight pulling sensation on the area however it is not painful. The temperature is then slowly lowered to -5 degrees. At this temperature the fat cells are killed off through freezing. Your skin is protected from the low temperature through an anti-freeze membrane. The body then naturally removes these dead cells through the lymphatic system.
Results
Cryolipolysis is not used for weight loss, it is a non-invasive body sculpting treatment that focuses on inch loss. Over a period of time your body will naturally remove the dead cells. As this happens the area that has been frozen will begin to flatten and tone as the extra layer of fat is removed. This happens over a period of 6-12 weeks. If you would like to see results in a quicker time frame combining Cryolipolysis with Ultrasound Cavitation or ShockWave therapy is a great route to go. These treatments break down the frozen cells quicker than the body does and therefore they are expelled from the body over a much faster timescale.
