Who we share your data with

We don’t share your data unnecessarily; there are 3 main areas we hold your data, firstly it’s for our appointments, in-store we take details from you to ensure your continued safety during treatments. We also have CCTV at our premises to ensure both our facilities and our staff are safe and secure all times and finally, we have a third party booking system which we share your name and contact data with. This is held on our account with them and is secure; this enables you to book appointments online and via an app.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. This is there to prevent hacking or spam reaching our blog or site comments section. This is to ensure the safety of our site and those using it.

Your contact information

How we protect your data

We will always do what we can to ensure your data is secure; it’s one of the reasons we use a third party booking app, it ensures your security while making the booking process as simple as possible.

What data breach procedures we have in place

Hopefully, a data breach never happens, but if it does, we will be sure to let you know as soon as possible. The reason we have CCTV at our beauty salon ensures we can maintain the security of your personal data.

What third parties we receive data from

We won’t ever purchase your data from anywhere; the only source of third party data we receive is through our fresha booking application. The information you enter on this application including your name and contact details enables us to book your appointment.

How Long We Store Your Data

We keep your data for as long as you’re having treatments with us and for a couple of years after. This helps us to always provide quality customer service and ensures we have the data for HMRC and Tax purposes. We won’t ever keep your data longer than is necessary.
