Micro-Needling In Saffron Walden

Micro-Needling is a fantastic treatment that can be used for treating lots of different problem areas. It can be used for anti-aging purposes, scarring, stretch marks and pigmentation.

Bare Beauty Saffron Walden uses a MediDerma Nanopore Microneedling device. Unlike older technology such as the Dermaroller and Dermapen treatments, this device penetrates vertically using an automatic vibrating function.

Using an automated vertical device means the skin is not damaged. Dermaroller and Dermapen are handheld devices which can cause tearing and scarring. The Nanopore avoids these issues.

The Nanopore reaches a depth of 0.25 and creates 900 micro-wounds per second. It is these micro-wounds that enables the skin to kick start the wound healing process and and create more collagen and fibroblasts.

How does it work?

Collagen is the protein that helps our skin stay plump and look rejuvenated. Part of the aging process is the loss of collagen, Microneedling is an excellent non-invasive treatment that enhances the production of collagen. This helps to soften fine lines and wrinkles and create a skin tightening effect.

Needling works very well for treating acne scars. By rolling the scars with needles the skin is encouraged to renew and plump which evens out the pitted scarred skin. It can also be used on stretch marks and helping to prevent stretch marks. Stimulating the skin with collagen makes the skin thicker meaning it is less likely to stretch and pull as easily.
